I had a fantastic 6-night stay at Joe’s Resort Unawatuna, which is located at the quieter end of Unawatuna Beach. The staff were incredibly helpful, and I particularly enjoyed the good breakfast. However, I did find the food prices could be more competitive, especially with a new higher-end hotel across the beach impacting the view. Overall, it was a nice experience with a few minor downsides.
